SUN Project Director of Partner Engagement – Rowan County

Asma Warrich serves as the SUN Project’s Director of Partner Engagement for Rowan County where she is building a collaborative system of care for pregnant moms with substance use disorder through partner engagement, strategic planning, and training. Asma brings more than 7 years of experience in the field of public health, with prior projects in community programming for healthy lifestyles for minority populations, adolescent health, and infection prevention in long-term care settings. Asma received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill and her Master’s in Public Health from UNC Charlotte. Asma is passionate about access to healthcare being a fundamental right for all. In her free time, Asma enjoys spending time with her family and hiking state parks across North Carolina.
