Olabisi (Ofunniyin) Ajao, CPA, Esq. obtained her undergraduate degree in accounting from Virginia State University. After becoming a Certified Public Accountant and working in both public and private accounting, she decided to embark on a journey to become a lawyer. She obtained her law degree from North Carolina Central University and continued her professional career as an attorney in Charlotte, NC. She has worked in employment law and healthcare law as both in-house and outside counsel. Important to Olabisi are her commitments to community development and to the provision of resources to the underserved. She serves as a founding board of directors’ member of the Davis Center Community Foundation (www.daviscenteresva.com), is a member of the Charlotte Emerging Business Leaders class 12, participates in pro-bono legal work throughout Mecklenburg County, and serves as a mentor to teens and law students throughout Charlotte and the Triangle.
