CHARLOTTE, NC – The Suda Institute is proud to announce that Dr. Russell Suda, Chief Medical Director, has been awarded the Generational Impact Leader Award at the 2025 Family Champion Awards, hosted by the Institute for Family on September 30, 2025 at The Duke Endowment in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Family Champion Awards celebrate individuals and organizations that strengthen and support families across North Carolina. Each year, leaders from sectors including healthcare, education, and community-based organizations are recognized for their innovation, collaboration, and lasting contributions to family well-being.
This year’s event featured Kody H. Kinsley, former North Carolina Secretary of Health and Human Services and current Senior Policy Advisor at Johns Hopkins, who delivered the keynote address on advancing family-centered systems through collaboration and equity.
The Generational Impact Leader Award honors individuals whose work produces long-term benefits for families and communities—creating sustainable systems that foster resilience across generations. Dr. Suda’s recognition reflects his commitment to improving outcomes for parents, children, and families through innovative medical leadership, cross-sector partnerships, and holistic models of care.
